Danish installation company Co2Pro has become the first partner in the EU to be certified by Huawei to provide technical supervision of the Chinese energy giant's large battery energy storage systems (BESS). The company announced this in a statement.
The certification covers, among other things, startup, technical support and diagnostics of Huawei's C&I and utility-scale BESS solutions and is intended to ensure that the systems function correctly from day one, which should minimize the risk of later breakdowns, operational disruptions or damage to the equipment.
- This certification is the result of targeted efforts and close cooperation over several years. We are pleased to be able to offer European energy partners and system owners access to local technical supervision, which is fully approved by Huawei itself, says Henrik Kayerød Jochumsen, CEO of Co2Pro.
Huawei's energy storage solutions are among the most widely used globally and are used on a large scale for grid stability, backup and energy flexibility.
In addition to the certification, Co2Pro has also been appointed as a Huawei Elite Installer – a designation for partners with high technical expertise and documented experience.
