A torn gas pipeline at a construction site in Hirtshals led to the port area being cordoned off by the North Jutland Police and North Jutland Emergency Services on Wednesday morning. The gas has now been removed, and citizens can move freely in the area again. This is reported by TV2 Nord.
- Due to wind conditions, where the wind comes from east to west, it blows out towards the water, says duty officer Karsten Højrup, who described the situation as "dangerous", even though there was no fire.
The gas company is now working to repair the gas pipeline, but the cause of the damage has not yet been determined.
