On Monday, October 6, the newly renovated Tyra field will be officially inaugurated with the participation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Minister of Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard, DI Director Lars Sandahl Sørensen and TotalEnergies' CEO Patrick Pouyanné.
The Tyra field, which is the North Sea's largest gas field and a central part of Denmark's energy supply, has undergone an extensive renovation after partial shutdown in 2019. The renovation has been aimed at ensuring continued production of gas for both the Danish market and export, while significantly improving the safety and efficiency of the field.
The event will take place at TotalEnergies in Esbjerg.
