In February, Ørsted's Head of Global Corporate Communication (communications manager) Martin Barlebo announced that he had left Ørsted after nine years in the position. It was probably a dismissal, as Barlebo himself stated on his LinkedIN profile that the breakup was due to the company "wanting someone else to lead its communications", which was the reason for the dismissal. Others, however, have been able to see the value in Barlebo's experience. Thus, he states on his LinkedIN that he will soon start a new job.
"On December 1st, I will start at Primetime as an advisor and partner. I have come to know Primetime as a great agency with talented employees and great clients, and I am looking forward to becoming part of the team after many years as a communications manager, first at ALK and then Ørsted," the announcement reads.
He also states that he has been on leave since he was laid off from Ørsted and will continue to do so until he joins the communications company. The reason he will not start at Primetime until December is due to competition concerns.
