Norlys' client company is expanding its board of directors with the professional profile Jukka Pertola, who was previously CEO of Siemens A/S and is currently, among other things, chairman of the board of GN Group, Cowi and Siemens Gamesa Denmark. Norlys informs in a press release.
Jukka Pertola joins the board with experience from both the energy and telecommunications industries as well as major integration and transformation processes. He was CEO of Siemens A/S from 2002 to 2017 and has since held a number of board positions.
The appointment is made while Norlys is working to bring together customers, products and processes on fewer platforms after the establishment of one unified customer business in 2024. According to the company, the goal is to create a more coherent customer experience across energy, internet, TV and mobile.
- Norlys' customer business is in the midst of a comprehensive transformation of the business and is also engaged in a major integration task. Jukka Pertola has experience from his time as chairman of the board at Tryg, among others, in merging organizations and setting them up for success. At the same time, he knows both the energy and telecommunications industries in depth from his time as a director at Siemens, and we look forward to incorporating his broad experience into the work of the board, says Gert Vinther Jørgensen, who is CEO of Norlys and chairman of the board of directors of Norlys' customer company.
Jukka Pertola has also previously been chairman of the board of directors at Tryg, where he was involved in the acquisition of the Swedish Trygg-Hansa and Codan in Norway. He also headed the board when Siemens Wind Power and Spanish Gamesa merged in 2017. He replaces Ulf Lund on the board. Ulf Lund resigned in December 2025 in connection with his appointment as commercial director at TV2.
