DCC Energi joins as a new member of the Corporate Preparedness in Denmark, a voluntary initiative where private companies collaborate to support society's preparedness in crisis situations. Membership means that DCC Energi makes its nationwide logistics network and distribution capacity available to ensure the energy supply to vital social institutions in the event of natural disasters or other critical events. The energy company states this in a press release.

- As a large, nationwide energy company, we believe that we have an opportunity and thus also a responsibility to contribute to Denmark's overall preparedness. Therefore, we have chosen to join the Corporate Preparedness and thereby make our competencies and capacity in the energy area available if a crisis situation should arise. We already have a number of obligations in relation to critical infrastructure, and it is this experience and insight that we can now contribute to the Corporate Emergency Response, says Daniel Andersen, CEO of DCC Energi.

DCC Energi is responsible for energy supply and service throughout the country with a fleet of around 100 tankers that handle fuels such as HVO, GTL, SAF, diesel, heating oil and petrol. The company also operates a network of Shell stations in Denmark and offers energy service with technicians who maintain and service heat pumps and oil and gas boilers.

The Corporate Emergency Response was established by Falck and must activate the relevant member companies in crisis situations to ensure rapid and effective support in cooperation with the public emergency response.
