Cadeler has now formally filed the so-called F4 report with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which will pave the way for the proposed merger of the two wind installation shipping companies Cadeler and Eneti. Cadeler writes this in a press release.
The implementation of the transaction is still subject to a number of conditions, including approval from Eneti's shareholders. The agreement is unanimously supported by the boards of directors of both Eneti and Cadeler. The expectation is that the process will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023.

It is a merger that will give customers access to a larger and more versatile fleet of jack-up vessels. The merger will also enable the new combined company to operate even more efficiently and target the increasingly larger and more complex projects that customers want.
The new combined group will retain the name Cadeler and the headquarters will remain in Copenhagen. Mikkel Gleerup will also continue to be at the helm of the merged shipping company as CEO. Peter Brogaard Hansen will also continue as CFO.
