A time has now been set for when Green Hydrogen Systems A/S' bankruptcy will be processed. It will take place on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in the Bankruptcy Court in Kolding, where the bankruptcy petition against the company will be processed. It is expected that the court will appoint a trustee to be responsible for the further process. The company has been under reconstruction since March in an attempt to find new owners or sell parts of the business. However, on June 19, the management gave up the attempt and filed for bankruptcy. It writes JydskeVestkysten.
The claims from creditors amount to over 1.5 billion. DKK, and the company estimates that the shareholders will not receive any payment. Among the creditors are ATP and the Augustinus Foundation. An agreement to sell parts of the business to German Thyssenkrupp Nucera is subject to approval from the trustee and creditors – and can only be activated once the bankruptcy has been approved.
"In that case, the bankruptcy court will decide how the matter is handled," says a creditor information prepared by both the company and restructuring officer Henrik Sjørslev from DLA Piper.
