Force Technology finds its new CEO at Kamstrup

Tommy Bysted will take up his position as the new CEO of the GTS institute Force Technology on October 1. He comes from a position as Senior Vice President at Kamstrup A/S.

Force Technology will have a new CEO on October 1st when Tommy Bysted takes over after a career with leading positions in Danish technology companies such as FOSS, Radiometer Medical, Teledyne RESON and most recently as CTO at Kamstrup. This is stated by Force TEchnology in a statement.

- Tommy Bysted comes to Force Technology with the right combination of knowledge about our customers and expertise, as well as visible results from his work with skilled knowledge employees, creation of a shared culture and change management. These are important competencies in the role as CEO of Force Technology, says Chairman of the Board Jesper Haugaard, he continues:

- After the first half of 2024, we have one of the best results in the company's history, which forms a good foundation for the continued development of Force Technology. We are engaged in a green and digital transformation, where our efforts will strengthen Danish business to continue to be the best within, among others, pharma, wind energy and Power-to-X.

With more than 7,000 customers annually, Force Technology, as a GTS institute, serves the majority of Danish industry within risk minimization and the use of technology, including based on testing, inspection and consulting.

In the past year, the company has increased its revenue, number of customers and research and development efforts - and has a special role in ensuring a green and digital transition within, among other things, wind energy, Power-to-X, CCUS and life science.

- As the industry's GTS institute, Force Technology has helped with technological transformations since 1940 and thus plays a central role in the innovation capacity of Danish business and society. In a world characterized by great technological opportunities, but also challenges, we must continue to be the best in our field with a focus on making our customers technologically leading, competitive and resilient, says Tommy Bysted.
