The Hydrogen Industry's annual general meeting was held on Friday, April 4, where a new board of directors was elected. Uffe Borup from Everfuel was re-elected as chairman, while Therese Bording Hermann from Topsoe continues as vice chairman. This is what the Hydrogen Industry writes in a press release.

– The past year has been full of ups and downs for the industry in Denmark. On the one hand, individual projects have been cancelled, and the failed offshore wind tender has created uncertainty about the availability of sufficient amounts of renewable energy for large-scale hydrogen production. On the other hand, hydrogen and methanol production plants are being put into operation. In addition, technology production in the form of electrolysis plants and components is getting into gear. With a renewed focus on hydrogen increasing European security of supply, the Danish hydrogen industry can now look forward to continuous progress. We, on the board of directors of the Hydrogen Industry, will do our part to support and stimulate this, so that Denmark can continue to be a key player in the European hydrogen economy. It is crucial for climate, energy and security of supply. I look forward to the collaboration on the board of the Hydrogen Industry, says Uffe Borup, CEO of Everfuel.

The board of directors consists of the following members in the coming year: Daniel Lux from Hydrogen Valley, David Dupont-Mouritzen from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, Jakob Dybdal Christensen from COWI, Lykke Mulvad Jeppesen from Ørsted, Mathias Aarup Berg from European Energy, Mick Cramer Jakobsen from DNV and Søren Klinge from Eurowind Energy.
