ODSHERRED: When the city council in December adopted the terms of reference for Bech-Bruun's investigation into the scandal in Odsherred Forsyning, the expectation was for a partial report in April. It only arrived last week in the form of a PowerPoint presentation, and the municipality is not satisfied with it. That is why supervision of the investigation is now being tightened, writes Sjællandske Nyheder.
Director Thomas Knudsen will in future have two weekly follow-ups with the law firm on how far they have progressed with the nine points in the investigation. They will be kept on a "much shorter leash", he tells the media. Thomas Knudsen has the contact because municipal director Claus Steen Madsen is also the subject of the lawyers' investigation.
Sjællandske Nyheder has not managed to get a comment from Bech-Bruun before deadline.
