HØJE-TAASTRUP: HTK Forsyning A/S has hired John Buur Christiansen as new CEO. He brings more than 18 years of experience as a top manager in municipal utility companies and will be in charge of the company's overall supply tasks within water, wastewater and waste.
The company is currently facing a number of important tasks, including the corporatization of the waste area, which the city council has decided will be transferred to HTK Forsyning from the beginning of 2026. At the same time, the utility must maintain high security of supply, support climate adaptation and ensure efficient and customer-oriented operations close to the citizens.
- John Buur Christiansen has the experience and vision needed to lead HTK Forsyning into the next phase. We look forward to the collaboration and to strengthening the supply with a focus on both operations, development and service to citizens, says Chairman of the Board Henrik Torning in a press release.
John Buur Christiansen has previously been director of several municipal utility companies and has, among other things, been in charge of the corporatization of the waste sector, the establishment of energy-neutral treatment plants and the implementation of climate adaptation solutions.
