BORNHOLM: The whole of Bornholm was hit by a power outage on Wednesday. This was reported by the electricity company Trefors' press officer, Ann Katrine Warren, to TV 2 Bornholm.
Here it says that it is allegedly due to a fault in the submarine cable to Bornholm.
The power is expected to be restored at 9 pm on Wednesday, it is said.
18,572 households are affected according to Trefor.
On Trefor's website, the company writes that there may be a lack of electricity supply and a failing supply of water, heating and communication on the entire island.
Bornholm Police are investigating the power outage. This was reported by the police district's press department to Ritzau.
The police are in dialogue with the relevant parties.
