The energy company DCC Energi, which i.a. operates the Shell filling stations in Denmark and also has an extensive energy business for business, marine, agricultural, public and private customers, will have a new director on 1 May in the form of Daniel Andersen.

Daniel Andersen is recruiting internally in the company, as he has held a position as COO since 2016. This is stated by DCC Energi in an announcement.

In DCC Energi, Daniel Andersen must ensure continued development of the business in line with the energy transition in society. Among other things, by developing the portfolio with new types of energy products and securing a significant footprint in the market with new low-emission solutions.

- My task will be to further develop the business in line with the energy transition while ensuring continuity for the customers who currently have no alternatives to the classic forms of energy. There is no doubt that, as one of the major energy companies in our country, we can and must actively contribute to Denmark's climate goals - both by reducing our own climate footprint and by helping customers to fulfill their climate ambitions, says Daniel Andersen.

The director's chair has become vacant, as DCC Energy's director for many years, Christian Heise, steps up in the DCC group and becomes Nordic CEO and part of the global management team in DCC Energy. As director of DCC Energi, Daniel Andersen will report directly to Christians Heise.
