VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S has increased its turnover to 4 billion DKK in 2024 with a profit before tax of 452 million DKK. This is what VIKING Life-Saving Equipment writes in a press release.
- We can be satisfied with the year's result, says Henrik Helsinghof, CEO of VIKING Life-Saving Equipment.
The company has experienced growth within all its business areas, including commercial shipping, offshore, cruise & ferry and defence and professional. This forms the basis for the company's new strategy towards 2028.
- We have increased our sales of products and services and have a good basis for the goals we have set for the coming years, says Henrik Helsinghof.
However, he points out that growth in the offshore segment has been particularly high in recent years, but is expected to normalize.
- We have seen extraordinary growth in offshore, but we expect a more stable development in the future. This makes it important to focus on innovation and scaling, says Henrik Helsinghof.
VIKING will continue to invest in new technologies, including the development of evacuation systems and electrically powered lifeboats. At the same time, rising raw material prices and global uncertainties have increased focus on optimizing operations.
- We must ensure that we continue to run a healthy and profitable business, says Henrik Helsinghof.
VIKING has 3,700 employees globally and has expanded its presence in several markets in recent years.
