The technology company CS electric was acquired last year by the Finnish engineering contractor Caverion with around 14,000 employees. Since then, the then co-owner and CEO Søren Toft Mathiasen has resigned, and now Caverion has found the man who will instead lead CS Electric.

The choice has fallen on Stefan Schlie, who will thus lead the approximately 140 employees in CS Electric as well as two of Caverion's departments, Marine and Offshore. The aim is to achieve even greater synergy in the joint business, Caverion states in a press release.

- With the appointment of Stefan Schlie as Business Director of CS electric, the Caverion family is now further strengthening its fight for the green transition within the customer segments marine, industry and energy, says Carsten Sørensen, CEO of Caverion, who continues:

- I also look forward to experiencing synergies between CS electric and Caverion's existing business within marine, industry and energy and expect us to become an even stronger supplier to support the expected growth in the business area.

Broad industry experience

Stefan Schlie is an experienced man in the industry, he comes with experience from various companies including the Danish Navy, Maersk Line, Maersk Contractors, Maersk Oil and Siemens Windpower. For the past 5½ years, he has been Department Manager in the Engineering Department at Vattenfall's Offshore Wind business. Now looking forward to the new challenges.

- CS electric has a really good know-how within electrical and automation technology. Their dedicated focus on the development and integration of environmentally friendly energy solutions, combined with Caverion's expertise, gives us a strong platform for continued growth both locally and internationally. Together we are able to offer our existing and new customers sustainable energy reduction solutions, says Stefan Schlie.
