1KOMMA5° has launched a new double-glass solar panel, Full-Black, which uses polysilicon from Bavaria and Saxony. The company is the only German manufacturer to use German silicon, which ensures high environmental and social standards in production. The company said in a statement.
- We also use polysilicon from Wacker Chemie for the new solar panel, although this means that we have significantly higher production costs compared to polysilicon from China. This ensures that the most energy-intensive part of the panel's production takes place in Germany, so we can guarantee that the production conditions are in line with our values and requirements, says CEO of 1KOMMA5° Philipp Schröder.
The new panel is based on N-Type TOPCon technology and a double-glass design, which increases energy production and improves efficiency. In addition, the company has extended the product and performance warranty to 30 years. The panel has an efficiency of 22.8 percent. and is offered with an output of 445 Wp and 450 Wp.
- With our new solar panel, we achieve an effective electricity price for the production from the solar system from only 35 øre per kWh over 30 years. We are proud to offer a solar panel that meets such high environmental and social standards, while offering our customers the cheapest electricity prices, says Jannik Schall, CPO and co-founder of 1KOMMA5°.
With the new solar panel, 1KOMMA5° improves its product range around their inverter and battery. In addition, the company has expanded its software solution Heartbeat AI, which connects devices in the household to optimize energy consumption. The number of interconnected energy systems has now increased to 40,000.
