RINGKØBING-SKJERN: Current 2nd deputy mayor of Ringkøbing-Skjern Kristian Andersen (KD) is running as a mayoral candidate, the Christian Democrats inform.
The announcement comes on the day that current mayor Hans Østergaard (V) has announced that he will stop at the next election.
Kristian Andersen has been a member of the city council since 2010 and was close to winning the mayor's post after KV17, but Hans Østergaard landed it at the time in an agreement with the Social Democrats.
