The global demand for PtX capacity has increased the demand for Eltronic PtX's expertise and solutions. Now the company is planning a new factory hall of 3000 sq m. at the head office in Hedensted. There are also plans for an expansion to the USA, from where the company expects to be able to deliver gas handling systems from the beginning of 2025. The company writes this in a press release.

10 years of experience with the development and series production of gas handling systems for the shipping industry led Eltronic Group to establish Eltronic PtX in early 2023. Since then, the customer base has expanded with new players within electrolysis and other PtX technologies in both Denmark and internationally - including the USA. The company expects to hire a total of 100 new engineers and specialized technicians to support the level of activity in 2025.

– Our customers have great confidence in us due to our expertise in hydrogen, and in recent months we have made agreements to develop modular process plants for PtX technology suppliers in hydrogen electrolysis, ammonia synthesis, and nuclear energy. We are also in dialogue with players in other technologies for the production of green hydrogen, green methanol, and biofuels, says Carl Jensen, commercial director at Eltronic PtX.

Eltronic PtX specializes in assisting electrolysis suppliers with the development and series production of hydrogen handling systems. The company's solutions include handling power, water, and cooling for the core of electrolysis plants, as well as handling the produced hydrogen and oxygen from the plant. In addition, the company can system integrate and test complete hydrogen plants for customers in a factory environment before they are shipped out into the world.

Will make Denmark a pioneer

Eltronic PtX has worked closely with the company Stiesdal Hydrogen on a partial delivery of a hydrogen handling system for an electrolysis plant that was put into operation in November 2023 at a biogas plant on Als owned by Nature Energy and Andel. The plant uses locally collected biogenic CO2 together with green hydrogen to optimize the production of sustainable biogas and thus helps to decarbonize Denmark's gas consumption.

– Through partnerships with our customers, we are ready to take greater responsibility for making Denmark a pioneer in PtX, and our ambition is to become a leading technology supplier in modular and serially produced process plants for the PtX industry globally, says Carl Jensen.
