Lars Jespersen, CEO of SDK Shipping A/S, has been re-elected as chairman of the Danish Shipping and Port Companies (DSHV) at the association's annual general meeting on 8 May. According to the association, the re-election marks continuity in the management, which can thus continue its work to improve the framework conditions for shipping and port companies in Denmark. Lars Jespersen highlighted in his report that there has been a particular focus on sanctions and customs systems in the past year. He pointed to a new reality with rising tariffs and unpredictable announcements.

At the general meeting, Michael Rühe from Jutlandia Terminals A/S was elected to the board of directors for a two-year period. In addition, several members were re-elected, including representatives from Visikrer, Scandinavian Auto Logistics, Dansk Natursten, Baltic Shipping Company and Holship. The board consists of a total of 14 members.
