After three years at Niras, Tina Hørbye Christensen chose in June to resign from her position as Group CFO and instead take up the position of CEO of Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S on August 1, 2024. Since then, Niras has been looking for her replacement.

The consultancy company can now call off that hunt. Niras has hired Ann-Sofie Østberg Bjergby as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from March 1, 2025. Niras announced this in a press release.

- We are excited to welcome Ann-Sofie as Niras' new CFO. Despite the fact that she is still early in her career, Ann-Sofie has already demonstrated significant results and brings fresh perspectives to Niras. With experience spanning finance, IT, HR and sustainability, she is well-equipped to contribute to Niras' growth and advance our economic, digital and sustainability agendas, says Carsten Toft Boesen, CEO of Niras.

Ann-Sofie Østberg Bjergby comes from a position as CFO at AKF, a property and project development company that builds and develops properties. Before her time at AKF, she has held various positions within finance and accounting and distinguished herself early on as a committed and forward-looking professional.

- I am really excited to join NIRAS and contribute to the company's ambitious strategy and vision of international growth. This role marks an exciting new chapter in my career, and I look forward to building on NIRAS' strong foundation together with my future colleagues, says Ann-Sofie Østberg Bjergby.
