Norwegian MarLog A/S now has a subsidiary in Denmark. The company has established a subsidiary in Esbjerg called MarLog Fenders AS. With the opening in Esbjerg, MarLog is now focusing further on the European market and the EU, where they see a large untapped potential for rental, sales and service of fenders to the European market from the West Jutland energy metropolis, Marlog states in a statement.
- Despite strong project loads in Denmark within offshore wind, NATO/Navy and ship-to-ship, it is clear to us that a strong supplier of fender solutions is missing, with good expertise also within the technical and practical aspects, says Nikolai Bakker, CEO of MarLog Fenders AS in Denmark.
According to the Norwegian company, the energy metropolis Esbjerg and Stavanger, where MarLog A/S is headquartered, have much in common, such as their activities and history within the offshore, energy and maritime sectors. That's why Esbjerg was the obvious choice when looking to open a new location south.
- It is an honor to be part of the broad and strong expertise found at the Port of Esbjerg and the players here. We will continue our expertise as a competitive supplier of fender solutions and consulting/services that go the extra mile for project managers and those who make purchases, says Nikolai Bakker.
