DI Energi has this week launched the strategy 'Green Competitiveness' for the period 2026-2028. The strategy is based on the fact that energy is not only about supply, but also about security and competitiveness, while the green transition must continue. DI Energi is a trade organization under the Confederation of Danish Industry that represents companies across the energy sector.

The strategy contains four central focus areas: a robust and coherent energy system, pace of electrification, balanced energy transition and development of green technologies, products and solutions.

The focus areas include the expansion of green energy and infrastructure, increased electrification and the use of technologies such as PtX, biogas and energy storage. At the same time, emphasis is placed on strengthening innovation and export of Danish energy solutions.

We look forward to the continued good cooperation with all our members to realize the strategy and create the best framework for the Danish energy industry, concludes Troels Ranis.

With the Green Competitiveness strategy, DI Energi will set the direction for the work in the coming three years across energy forms, technologies and companies in the industry.

- At DI Energi, we are proud to bring together the entire energy industry – across energy forms, technologies and company sizes. Our broad membership covers the entire value chain and strengthens our common voice and influence, says Troels Ranis, Industry Director at DI Energi.
