Last year, Mikkel Seedorff Sørensen was first fired and then expelled as director of Frederikshavn Port. Now he has been sued by the municipality's management, which has also involved several other key people in the legal showdown. This is what Nordjyske writes.
According to the media, Frederikshavn Municipality has sued both Mikkel Seedorff Sørensen and former chairman of the board Bo Uggerhøj. The case also includes the law firm HjulmandKaptain and partner Karsten Madsen, who was previously a lawyer for the port.
- We have no comments on that, other than that it is correct, says Karsten Madsen, a partner in HjulmandKaptain.
The municipality will not state why Bo Uggerhøj, who is currently the director of Spar Nord Fonden, has become part of the case. However, in a lawyer's investigation, he is referred to as a "(almost) working chairman of the board", who, according to the investigation, has been involved in and fully informed about the port's most important decisions.
The main complaint against Mikkel Seedorff Sørensen concerns that, according to the municipality, he has sold properties at the port without written approval from the board. In a confidential letter signed by municipal director Thomas Eriksen, he is also accused of having transferred properties for "effectively 0 kr." to the company M.A.R.S.
- I have no comments on pending lawsuits
says Thomas Eriksen, municipal director of Frederikshavn Municipality.
Mikkel Seedorff Sørensen has not wanted to comment on the case, and Bo Uggerhøj has not commented to Nordjyske either.
