DCC Energi has for some time had a portfolio consisting of natural gas, biogas, heating oil, heat pumps, fuels and fast charging for transport as well as charging solutions and energy services.

Now the energy company is adding energy trading to the portfolio, which thus covers the total energy needs of consumers and businesses. The broad portfolio within energy has been a focal point in DCC's strategy, the company states in a press release.

- The electrification of society is a central focus in our strategy. Therefore, the establishment of an electricity business is also an important step for our investments in energy solutions for Danish homes and businesses. The electricity business will be a business area that we will continue to develop in the coming years in conjunction with our other energy solutions, says CEO Daniel Andersen, adding:

- It is no secret that with our new electricity business we are closing a recognized gap in our portfolio of solutions targeted at electrification, such as heat pumps and charging concepts for electric car drivers. In doing so, we are now ticking off one of the important elements in the strategy of being able to deliver 360-degree energy solutions to all types of customers.

The electricity business gives DCC Energi new opportunities as a full-service energy company in Denmark.

- DCC Energi wants to be an attractive total supplier for customers, with competitive and, above all, transparent prices. Being an electricity customer should be easy and transparent. So it is important to us that we are available when customers call, and that you can understand what is on the invoice from us, says Daniel Andersen.
