Mayors do not recognize Støjberg's criticism of the energy parks

Wrong rhetoric when Støjberg claims that energy parks have been pushed through by the government, says one of the mayors of North Jutland.

During the national meeting of the Danish Democrats in October, chairman Inger Støjberg launched a proposal to stop the government's proposed energy parks, where 24 out of 26 have so far been set to be built in Jutland. According to Støjberg, the parks are an ambition of politicians in Copenhagen, who are being dragged down on the local population.

However, it is a criticism that the mayors of four Jutland municipalities, which have offered areas for the energy parks, cannot recognize the criticism. The message now comes from the two mayors of North Jutland, Per Bach Lauersen (V) and Mogens Gade (V), who are mayors in respectively Vesthimmerland and Jammerbugt Municipalities, writes TV2 Nord .

- The rhetoric is completely wrong when Inger Støjberg claims that this has been pushed through by the government. This has grown up out in the municipalities. There is no one who has called us in Jammerbugt Municipality and said, 'now you have to build two energy parks', says Mogens Gade.

Inger Støjberg herself maintains her criticism of the energy parks and on Thursday had called as many as two ministers into consultation on the matter. According to her, there will be people in rural areas who suddenly cannot sell their houses, and who have to recognize that everything they moved out to the countryside for is suddenly gone.
