With the ambition to maintain an ongoing focus on operational excellence and strategic growth, Better Energy is now strengthening the company's management.
Thus, Lars Steen Rasmussen will take over as Chief Operating Officer (COO) on 1 September, while Kia Lindholm has been appointed as Chief Legal Officer (CLO) with effect from 1 August. The company states this in a press release.
- Over the past several months, we have worked hard to strengthen our management team with complementary profiles and skills. I am sure that with Lars and Kia we will have two strong additions to our management, says Rasmus Lildholdt Kjær, who is CEO of Better Energy.
Lars Steen Rasmussen brings over 30 years of management experience across various industries and markets to his new role as COO. Most recently, he comes from a position as CEO at Nissens Cooling Solutions. At better energy, he will be responsible for the operational activities across Better Energy's markets.
- We have a real opportunity to make a difference by building renewable energy parks in regions that are ready for additional green energy. With several large projects in our construction portfolio, I see it as an opportunity to become part of a company with a clear purpose and a strong business model, says Lars Steen Rasmussen.
Promotes employee
Kia Lindholm, who has been a member of Better Energy's legal team since 2023, has been promoted to Chief Legal Officer. With almost ten years of experience at Kromann Reumert and Marsh, Kia has a strong track record in mergers and acquisitions, banking activities and finance.
In her new role, she will continue to lead a diverse group of legal professionals involved throughout the process as Better Energy enters into partnerships and agreements.

My focus has been to formalize and execute these partnerships so we have the resources and expertise to grow our business the right way. I look forward to working with various partners to accelerate the transition to green energy, says Kia Lindholm.
