With the ambition to maintain an ongoing focus on operational expertise and strategic growth, Better Energy is now strengthening the company's management team.
Thus, Lars Steen Rasmussen will join on September 1 as Chief Operating Officer (COO), while Kia Lindholm has been appointed Chief Legal Officer (CLO) with effect from August 1. The company announced this in a press release.
- Over the past several months, we have worked diligently to strengthen our management team with complementary profiles and competencies. I am confident that with Lars and Kia, we will have two strong additions to our management team, says Rasmus Lildholdt Kjær, CEO of Better Energy.
Lars Steen Rasmussen brings over 30 years of management experience across various industries and markets to his new role as COO. Most recently, he came from a position as CEO at Nissens Cooling Solutions. At better energy, he will be responsible for the operational activities across Better Energy's markets.
- We have a real opportunity to make a difference by building renewable energy parks in regions that are ready for additional green energy. With several large projects in our construction portfolio, I see it as an opportunity to become part of a company with a clear purpose and a strong business model, says Lars Steen Rasmussen.
Promoting employee
Kia Lindholm, who has been a member of Better Energy's legal team since 2023, has been promoted to Chief Legal Officer. With nearly ten years of experience at Kromann Reumert and Marsh, Kia has a strong track record in mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance.
In her new role, she will continue to lead a diverse group of legal professionals who are involved throughout the process when Better Energy enters into partnerships and agreements.

My focus has been to formalize and execute these partnerships so that we have the resources and expertise to grow our business in the right way.
