Novonesis raises the company's revenue in the first quarter of the year to 1.077 billion euros - equivalent to around 8 billion kroner. This means that the company delivers organic sales growth of 11 percent. This is evident from the company's quarterly financial statements, which were published on Thursday morning.

Therefore, the company maintains its expectations for 2025 of organic sales growth of between 5 and 8 percent. In the same period last year, the enzyme company's revenue was 853 million euros.

Novonesis is the combined company after the merger of Chr. Hansen and Novozymes, which was completed at the end of January last year.

- We delivered strong growth in sales and earnings in the first quarter, with all four sales areas having double-digit growth, says Ester Baiget, CEO of Novonesis, in a statement.

She emphasizes that the growth is driven by innovative solutions, especially in new markets.

- We continue to see solid demand across the business, and our regional presence and resilient global setup enable us to respond with flexibility in these dynamic times, it continues.

Novonesis produces, among other things, ingredients for cleaning products and foods such as milk, yogurt and cheese. The company also produces biofuel. The company is present in more than 45 countries with more than 10,000 employees.
