Electricians and plumbers play a central role in the green transition. They install heat pumps, install solar cells, make buildings intelligent and ensure that energy is used smarter. But even the strongest craftsmanship needs to be maintained.
That is why Tekniq, the Danish Electrical Association and the Danish Plumbers' and Plumbers' Association are launching a new nationwide campaign that focuses on further training in the electrical and plumbing industry due to the green transition.
The campaign is to ensure that the electrical and plumbing industry is even better equipped for the demands of the future.
Over the next three years, the campaign is to inspire even more people in the industry to take the green AMU courses, which provide concrete skills to handle new technology, meet new demands from customers, developers and legislation - and to lead the way in the work for a greener Denmark.
- Green transition requires green professionalism. With this campaign, we invest in those who translate ambitions into action in the technical business community every day, says Jørgen Prosper Sørensen, Head of Education and Labor Market, Tekniq.
