MAN Energy Solutions has changed its name to Everllence. The new name was unveiled at its headquarters in Augsburg, Germany, on Wednesday and marks a new phase in the company’s strategy for climate-neutral solutions, the company said.

The name ‘Everllence’ is a combination of the words ‘ever’ and ‘excellence’ and is intended to symbolize both the company’s long history and focus on the future. With technologies such as large heat pumps, carbon capture and storage solutions and electrolysis plants for green hydrogen, Everllence will contribute to reducing unavoidable emissions and supporting the global green transition.

The name change is part of the 'Moving big things to zero' strategy, which focuses on decarbonization and efficiency solutions in heavy industry, energy production and shipping.

- The name change is the logical next step in the execution of our 'Moving big things to zero' strategy, which focuses on decarbonization and efficiency solutions - especially for sectors of the global economy that face difficult, climate-damaging emissions, says Uwe Lauber, CEO of Everllence.

The company emphasizes that the portfolio of products and services remains unchanged and that it remains part of the Volkswagen Group.

The name change is not the first in recent times. In 2018, the company changed its name from ‘MAN Diesel & Turbo’ to ‘MAN Energy Solutions’ as it began to focus its business on technological solutions to reduce climate-damaging emissions in shipping, energy production and industry.
