The Dutch group Royal Van Leeuwen has acquired the Danish company Dan-Equip A/S, which operates as a trading company in the offshore and energy sectors and is based in Esbjerg. Dan-Equip supplies pipes, fittings, flanges and valves to customers in the offshore, chemical, petrochemical and process industries. Royal Van Leeuwen announced this in a press release.

The founder of Dan-Equip, Knud Pedersen, will continue in the company as Sales Director with responsibility for all commercial activities. Jos van de Werff has joined as the new CEO of Dan-Equip A/S on June 30, 2025.

- We are pleased to become part of Royal Van Leeuwen, a leading and global distributor of pipes and pipe products. Both Dan-Equip and Van Leeuwen are known for reliable delivery of complete and customized products and services. Our customers will benefit from the additional knowledge, expertise and wide range that Van Leeuwen can offer, says Knud Pedersen, CEO of Dan-Equip A/S.

Van Leeuwen is already present in Denmark through its subsidiary Heléns Rør A/S in Middelfart. Heléns Rør supplies materials to the construction, mechanical and hydraulic industries, among others.

- We welcome the Dan-Equip team in Esbjerg as a valuable new member of the Royal Van Leeuwen family. Together with Dan-Equip, Van Leeuwen can expand its current customer base and strengthen its position in the Danish offshore and energy sector. I look forward to joining forces and offering customers more than just pipes, says Jos van de Werff.
