Kristina Ertmann Nielsen has joined Verdo Energi og Forsyning in Randers as CFO. The position is newly created and will, among other things, strengthen the focus on the regulatory area in the company's supply branch.
Kristina Ertmann Nielsen has a Master of Science in Economics and comes from a position as chief economist at Aalborg Forsyning, where she has been employed for the past five years. She previously worked as a financial consultant in Randers Municipality.

In January, Verdo changed its organizational structure from a group to a conglomerate. This meant that common staff functions were separated into the individual companies. Verdo Energi og Forsyning, which supplies water and heat to more than 100,000 consumers in Randers and Herning, is one of those entities.
The appointment comes at a time when the Verdo Group is facing financial challenges. The commercial businesses are under pressure, and in 2024 the energy group from Kronjutland recorded its largest deficit on ordinary operations to date, with a total result of -163 million DKK.
