ESBJERG: Several companies are experiencing major delays at Energinet. And this is putting a brake on Esbjerg Municipality's million-dollar investment in a new business area that will help the municipality towards its climate goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 2030. This is reported by Finans.dk.
Allan Dahl Leiberg, head of the secretariat at the Technical and Environmental Department in Esbjerg, tells the media that several companies in the area have been told that they will not be able to get full power supply for several years.
- It is a challenge that Esbjerg Municipality is laying out 160 hectares of commercial land to support the green transition in Denmark. And we have done all this so that Energinet will just tell the first person who calls and asks that they can get power in 10 years, says Allan Dahl Leiberg.
