The national test center in Østerild has become a tourist attraction. However, over the weekend between 1 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Monday, there were guests who were not exactly welcome. The test center was broken into. Rene Carlsen, a police officer at the local police in Thisted, told Nordjyske.

The thieves broke into four containers from Siemens, which are used for storage and as a workshop. Here, they stole, among other things, 10-15 drills, an electrical tester, several socket wrench sets, impact wrenches, electric impact wrenches and a tablet from Samsung. The police officer says that a final status has not yet been made on what has been stolen.

- But with what has already been reported stolen, we come to well over 50,000 kroner, as there are very expensive power tools, says Rene Carlsen, who says that the police would like to hear from sources if they have seen anything at the test center over the weekend.
