
Siemens Gamesa continued to burden Siemens Energy in the fourth quarter of the 2025 financial year, which ran until the end of September. Siemens Gamesa's result ended at -353 million euros (-2.6 billion kroner), while the result before special items was -303 million euros (-2.3 billion kroner), corresponding to a profit margin of minus 11 percent.
The wind division's order intake fell to 1.1 billion euros, significantly below the 4.1 billion euros the previous year, when a large offshore project lifted the level. Revenue fell by 8.7 percent to 2.7 billion euros (20.2 billion kroner).
Siemens Gamesa's result is pressured by low margins in the onshore business and significant costs in building up the company's offshore activities. The wind area was also hit by US tariff changes, which affected Siemens Gamesa harder than the group's other segments. The order book in the wind division fell to 36 billion euros (269 billion kroner).
For the past many years, Siemens Gamesa has delivered red numbers. However, if everything goes according to plan, this will be the last time this time. Siemens Energy expects Siemens Gamesa to reach break-even in the 2026 financial year.
Other areas improved
At the group level, the development was significantly stronger. Siemens Energy raised revenue to 10.4 billion euros and profit before special items to 471 million euros. Net profit increased to 236 million euros (1.8 billion kroner), and the order backlog reached 138 billion euros.
In contrast to the wind division, the other business areas all delivered solid contributions: 'Gas Services' had revenue of 3.1 billion euros and delivered profit before special items of 251 million euros, 'Grid Technologies' reached 3.1 billion euros. euros in revenue and 463 million euros in profit before special items, and 'Transformation of Industry' generated revenue of 1.6 billion euros and a profit before special items of 177 million euros.

In 2026, Siemens Energy expects growth of 11–13 percent, a profit margin before special items of 9–11 percent and a net profit of 3–4 billion euros. euros (22.4–29.9 billion DKK).
