When the Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP) called for potential applicants to apply for new funds in December. In total, the EUDP offers possible support for over 300 million DKK.
The call from the EUDP included the special pool Smart Energy and Digitalisation, which will probably seem a bit familiar to some. The new pool for Smart Energy and Digitalisation originates from the former Elforsk programme.
In July 2024, the Danish Energy Agency announced that responsibility for the administration of the Elforsk grant pool was transferred to the Danish Energy Agency. Previously, Elforsk was administered in collaboration between the Danish Energy Agency and Green Power Denmark. Now the pool has been strategically placed with the Danish Energy Agency's support program EUDP, where it has been given a new name and (partially) new framework.
The purpose of the pool is to support new innovative projects that can contribute to new technological solutions and tools within Smart Energy, digitalization and increased data use in the energy sector.
- We are very pleased that the pool for Smart Energy and Digitalization has landed at EUDP. The expectation is that the special pool will contribute with important technological solutions that, among other things, can create broad societal value and form the basis for more future development and demonstration projects - with a focus on Smart Energy and Digitalization. We see obvious potential in the synergies that the special pool can create in interaction with EUDP's general tender, says Kim Lehmann, chairperson of EUDP's board.
There are DKK 24.75 million available in the pool for Smart Energy and Digitalization. If you want to be part of the pool, you must apply no later than March 3, 2025 at 12:00.
